GTA 6 in 2021?!-Maybe

According to rumors circulating the internet Gta 6 could be slated for release by 2021 but do take these claims with pinch of salt.

The 2021 rumored release date would mean that the new Gta would be released as a new console generation game with rumors mentioning that the title couldn't be adapted to current gen consoles because of memory limitations of the current ps4 and Xbox console but this remains to be seen.

More male protagonist!- with fans clamoring to have a full on female protagonist introduced to the story of Gta 6, Rockstar could make this possible but given the track record of the franchises all male protagonists that remains a big doubt.

As for the setting its rumored that the new Gta that is being worked on by Rockstar Games had initially an Eastern\Asian setting but the overly complex road structures of Asian cities has hindered Rockstar in making it a reality. That being said there are examples of how it can be done with previous games like Yakuza and Sleeping Dogs having both had Asian settings so this could very well turn out to be untrue.

Gta 6 is highly unlikely to have a modern day setting as by the time the game is released the content would have been out of date somewhat dulling the satire .This seems to be corroborated by Rockstar Co founder Dan Houser who mentioned that "It’s really unclear what we would even do with [GTA 6], let alone how upset people would get with whatever we did. Both intense liberal progression and intense conservatism are both very militant, and very angry. It is scary but it’s also strange, and yet both of them seem occasionally to veer towards the absurd. It’s hard to satirize for those reasons. Some of the stuff you see is straightforwardly beyond satire. It would be out of date within two minutes, everything is changing so fast".

All this suggest that Rockstar will stay clear of reenacting any modern day events or indeed narrating the present status quo within the game.

As for the size of the map its rumored that the new map will feature both Liberty City and Vice City as players will play as an up and coming drug dealers trying to built an empire for themselves in either the 80's or 90's.The multiple cities or maps approach fits the current Rockstar approach to having multiple locations available to traverse which should speak to why the current consoles cant run the rumored upcoming game due to hardware limitations that would be introduced if this were to be the case.

These are just rumors and have yet to be confirmed but we believe that some of these points are spot on. lets hope we are not to wrong.
